TPT#230 - The Lights Are On But Nobody's Home

George's elderly aunt (who insists that she doesn't have memory problems) has been claiming for months that "they'll send me to the funny farm" for her behaviour. Eventually it became self-fulfilling prophecy. Add his neurotic sister, his elderly mother, and Child#2 into the mix, and George's recovery and attempts to return to work aren't going as smoothly as we'd hoped. But we should know better, by now, than to expect anything to ever go smoothly around here. Thankfully, passing as male improves his chances of having his own health needs considered important by those around him, who are still expecting him to manage everyone else, as life keeps happening and he keeps being the most functional person in the room.

We are here to share our entire intersectional experience with anyone who finds it beneficial, but we want to know what you connect with the most. You can let us know by clicking to a one-question anonymous survey at If you have a request/suggestion that isn't listed, comment, or email us at!
